The Lulu Plays is a classic collection of works by Frank Wedekind that I decided to spin on its head. My senior thesis and my directorial debut in theatre, this was a passion project created across multiple mediums to make a commentary on male perception of female identity. We shot a technical element for the production on 16mm film. I then adapted the play and raised money to put it up in Brooklyn, New York.
